Okawville is a rural community located only minutes away from St. Louis.  Interstate 64 provides a quick link to St. Louis and its many attractions.

The village's German heritage is reflected in its well-kept homes with their neatly-trimmed lawns.  Its residents have a strong sense of civic pride.

Originally founded as Bridgeport in 1838, the village was renamed Okawville in the mid-1870s when Germans immigrated to the area and began farming the surrounding countryside and opening shops in the village.

Okawville has been well-known for its natural mineral springs, and has drawn guests from far and wide to experience the healing baths.  However, Okawville has much more to offer than just a healing bath.  We have a variety of businesses including golf, museums, and quaint shops for all your needs.

Residents and visitors alike should check out the calendar of events tab to find out what we have going on.
